Dr. K. Ravi Kumar is working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tamaram, Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has about 18 years of teaching experience.

He received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from AIET, JNTU Hyderabad and his M.Tech degree in Digital Electronics and Communication Systems from CEC, JNTU Kakinada. He received his Ph.D Degree in Radar Signal Processing from Andhra University College of Engineering, Andhra Pradesh.

He has published 17 research papers in refereed journals, 10 research papers in proceedings of various international conferences, and has published 2 Indian patents and 2 textbooks.

He has attended more than 35 Faculty Development Programs and various workshops. He is a life member of FIETE and IAENG. Currently, he is an EC member of IETE, Visakhapatnam chapter.

His research areas include Radar Signal Processing, Image Processing, Wireless Communication, and VLSI Design.
