About

The ECE Department was established in the year 1999 with an intake of 60 students and this was increased to 120 students in the 2007 and increased to 180 students in the 2012. The department has an eminent faculty and well supported infrastructure and laboratories. The faculty keeps abreast with the latest advances in technology and ensures that hardware equipment and related software are upgraded to ensure its students are able to keep pace with current trends in technology and the industry.

The department also offers a Post – Graduate course in ‘VLSI Design ’ started in the year 2011.

The students are encouraged to participate in workshops, industrial internship, industrial visits and seminars; along with the projects assigned during the course, these activities enable them to broaden their outlook and build in professionalism that makes their transition from college to industry smoother after graduation.

  • M2:It is our goal to provide our students with a strong theoritical foundation, practice engineering skills, experience in interpersonal communication and team work,and a daily emphasis on ethics professional conduct and critical thinking.
  • M3:We prepare our graduates for successfully engagement in commercial and industrial enterprise, reserch and development and graduate study.
  • M4:We Emphasize and support the training necessary for practice as professional engineers.
  • PEO's

    PEO 1: Graduates will have demonstrated a through grounding in the fundamental principles of basic sciences, English other engineering disciplines, Mechanical engineering subjects and practices convey a professional attitude appropriate for a diverse world community.
    PEO 2: Graduates will have undertaken complex problems and develop appropriate technical solutions.
    PEO 3: Graduates will be prepared to communicate and work effectively on team based engineering projects and will practice the ethics of their profession consistent with a series social responsibility.
    PEO 4: Graduates will have demonstrated exposure to emerging and modern technologies to succeed in engineering position in various agencies and also pursuate advanced degrees in engineering.

    1.ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE:Apply the knowledge of mathematics,science,engineering fundamentals,and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineeringproblems.
    2.PROBLEM ANALYSIS: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineeringproblems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, naturalsciences, and engineering sciences.
    3.DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS: Design solutions for complex engineering problems anddesign system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriateconsideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmentalconsiderations.
    4.CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS OF COMPLEX PROBLEMS: Use research-based knowledge andresearch methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, andsynthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
    5.MODERN TOOL USAGE: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modernengineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activitieswith an understanding of the limitations.
    6.THE ENGINEER AND SOCIETY: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assesssocietal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevantto the professional engineering practice.
    7.ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY: Understand the impact of the professional engineeringsolutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and needfor sustainable development.
    8.ETHICS: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities andnorms of the engineering practice.
    9.INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM WORK: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leaderin diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
    10. COMMUNICATION: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with theengineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and writeeffective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, give andreceive clear instructions.
