Avanthi Educational Society registered in the year 1991 is now in the forefront of premier educational institutions and is adjudged one amongst the best in the educational institutions imparting Science courses as top 2 in A.P. & 16th position in India by “INDIA – TODAY” a reputed national magazine. Avanthi always endeavors to keep abreast, ahead of its times. The academic policies of the Institution are well conceived and it offers various courses at Junior, Degree , Post Graduation, Engineering and Pharmacy levels through network of colleges at Hyderabad, Viskhapatnam and Vizianagaram.
Since its inception, Avanthi is imparting effective education under the aegis of Sri M. Srinivasa Rao - harbinger of higher education.
Starting with a humble strength of 9 students, the society diversified into 9 Education Institutions giving a multi pronged platform for various courses. A strength of around 6000 students is a striking testimony for its sojourn in the path of progress.
 The Institution
The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation for the period 2009 – 12. The Under Graduate programs in ECE, CSE, EEE and IT courses are accredited by the board.
The Campus
This year the college is celebrating its decennial year and to make this remarkable in the history of the Institute a Decennial block is constructed with a cost of Rs. 2.5 Crores. The block is Exclusive for I year students which is equipped with A/c Class rooms and A/c Labs.

The Institution Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology was established during the academic year 1999-2000 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. Academic Records
